We stopped by Subway for sandwiches and drove about an hour up our beautiful Mount Graham, then stopped at Shannon campground. There was running water near our picnic table and the beginning of a couple fun walking trails. We ate, went for a walk, played frisbee and drew pictures. We were wishing we had wood, matches, and smores supplies to keep us there a little longer, but headed home towards dark-time. Everyone really enjoyed the day and decided we would try to do it more often! I just can't believe how fast time flies! We had a party at the Thatcher Park so the "big" kids could play, while the "bigger" kids visited and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Tylee was so careful with her cake at first, but soon realized she had full reign and proceeded to eat almost the whole thing!
